Open Local Government Partnership
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) initiative is an international network established in 2011. One of its objectives is to establish partnerships between governments and civil society actors, including associations and non-governmental organizations, in order to make the management of public affairs more transparent, open, participatory, and accountable to citizens.

Transparency

Information produced or owned by the local (collective) government should be open, detailed, freely available and timely to the public on the condition of public interest and should meet open basic data standards/

Participation

The local government (the community) seeks to mobilize citizens, both male and female, to participate in public discussions to express their points of view and opinions and to present suggestions or ideas that lead to a more responsive, innovative and effective measure.

Accountability

When the applicable rules, regulations, and mechanisms enable local government agencies to be called upon to justify their actions, respond to criticisms or demands, and take responsibility in case of breach of laws or breach of pledges.

Innovation

The local government (the community) realizes the importance of enabling citizens to freely access and use technology in managing their affairs and the role of new technologies in stimulating innovation and raising their capabilities.
